In accordance with The Alfred's strategic plan for
research, the AMREP Council oversees the annual allocation of
approximately $1.5 million from The Alfred Research Trusts to
priority areas. Funds are also directed to
Small Project Grants (for
new researchers), Postgraduate
Research Scholarships, the
biostatistician,
whose services are provided by the Monash University Department of Epidemiology and
Preventive Medicine, and special research initiatives.
